WorldFood Istanbul is the largest and most successful food and packaging exhibition in Turkey, featuring over 360 exhibitors every year. It brings together local and international producers and brands, providing participants with an invaluable platform to develop their presence in the market.

WorldFood Istanbul will take place at the TUYAP Fair and Exhibition Center the biggest international exhibition centre in Eurasia which hosts over 50 international fairs per year.

Worldfood Istanbul 2018 Hosted Buyer Programme is organised by ITE Turkey to offer new procurement, business development, new business and partnership opportunities to industry players.

In addition to the Hosted Buyer Programme organised by ITE Turkey, VIP hosted buyers from the Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Russia, Germany, UAE, Azerbaijan, Avustria, Iraq, Belgium, Kazakhstan and Colombia will be at Worldfood Istanbul 2018 this year to meet exhibitors.

The B2B Meetings Programme includes:

B2B meetings arranged with Matchmaking system- GRIP (Details is listed below)
– All B2B meetings will be held in Hosted Buyer Lounge at the main foyer.
– B2B meetings will be held between 11:00 and 16:00.
– Each meeting is scheduled for 15 minutes.
– B2B meetings will be held on 6-7 September 2018.
– Hosted buyers are required to hold at least 10 B2B meetings per day. However, most buyers make much more than this number. The duration of each slot is 15 minutes and there is 5 minutes break after each slot.
– Delegates’ lunch break will be between 13:00 – 14:00 pm.

Matchmaking System 

Worldfood Istanbul is featuring this year a new free-to-use matchmaking tool (GRIP) available to all exhibitors and Hosted Buyers attending Worldfood Istanbul 2018. Available as a smartphone and a web client, the tool is the perfect way for attendees to network quickly & efficiently, connect with the right customers or suppliers, and expand their network at the show.
Whatever the attendees’ networking goals are, the artificial intelligence within the platform provides users with tailored recommendations of the most relevant & valuable industry contacts to meet during their time at the event – all based on the attendees’ networking needs, areas of specialism and reasons for attending the show.
All recommendations are presented in an easy-to-use and intuitive swiping interface, which makes it quick & easy to find, connect & meet with the right people. Appointments are instantly integrated with the user’s own calendar, and notifications are scheduled automatically to remind the user of their upcoming meetings.
The matchmaking system is available to all exhibitors and registered visitors to the exhibition.
